Steve Buscemi’s directorial debut premiered in the Director’s Fortnight at the 1996 Cannes Film Festival. Tommy (Buscemi) has lost his job, his love and his life. He lives in a small apartment above a bar, and gets a job driving an ice cream truck. When he starts getting involved with the seventeen-year-old niece of his ex-girlfriend, he's asking for even more trouble.
