Quo Vadis, Aida?, filmmaker Jasmila Žbanić turns to documentary for this film about an extraordinary historical figure, Emerik Blum. Born in Sarajevo in 1911 into a family of Hungarian Jews, Blum survived the Jasenovac concentration camp, and then thrived during the early postwar years of Marshal Tito’s Yugoslavia.
