An imaginative, cautionary tale told by a Palila–a rare, yellow Hawaiian bird–whose landmark lawsuit successfully prevented their species’ destruction. The film examines extinction through a poetic lens of Native Hawaiian storytelling, human and animal perspectives of nature, and animated vignettes.
