Amrit Kaur (THE SEX LIVES OF COLLEGE GIRLS) stars as Azra, a queer South Asian grad student who is at odds with her conservative mother (Nimra Bucha, POLITE SOCIETY). Following a family tragedy in Pakistan, Azra is launched into a Bollywood-inspired journey through memories real and imagined, from her mother’s youth in 1969 Karachi to her own coming of age in rural Canada.
