Time Bandits is the fantasy-adventure-comedy film co-written, produced, and directed by Terry Gilliam and starring fellow Pythons Michael Palin and John Cleese along with a glittering cast including Sean Connery, Sir Ralph Richardson, Shelley Duvall, Katherine Helmond and David Warner. The plot follows a young boy who accidentally joins a band of time traveling dwarves as they jump from era to era looking for treasure to steal.
