Theater History

The Claremont 5 was built from the ground up by Laemmle Theatres and opened to the public on Friday July 27th, 2007. The first five films booked were Hairspray, My Best Friend, No Reservations, Sunshine and Sicko.  The theater has 5 auditoriums with stadium seating and wall-to-wall screens. The houses range in size from 113 to 250 seats.

Directions

The theater is located just off Indian Hill Blvd in the Claremont Village Shopping and Dining district. From the 10 Freeway, get off at Indian Hill and head north about one mile. The theater is on the left.

Parking

A city parking structure is located at 1st and Oberlin Ave. Parking on the lower level is free for up to three hours. Longer term parking is available on the upper levels. To get to the theatre, walk north up Oberlin Ave and watch for signs that will direct you to the box office.

Public Transport

For those that live outside of the area, Claremont is a very pleasant city to visit on a day trip. The theatre is just a short walk from the Claremont Metrolink station.
