The screening program is as follows:

“Rip and Burn: Chapter 1” Tense drama. A small time loan shark tries to help an ex-girlfriend who is leading him down a dark path.

“Sparks” Comedy. A happy, code-typing worker-android falls in love with his human female supervisor. Just one problem: every time he sees her, his heart literally explodes.

“Easy Money” Drama. Two cash-strapped students are given the opportunity to make some money by retrieving a briefcase. Easy… not so much. Their quest leads them down a very dark path.

“Give + Take” Comedy. Caring is easy. Surviving is hard. A comedy of errors ensues when a slacker becomes a caregiver to a crusty Scottish senior, resulting in mishap and mayhem.

“Sworn” Action/mythical fantasy. When their king is killed in battle it becomes the task of Captain Andin Marr and five elite Sworn warriors to defeat the seemingly unbeatable, giant barbarian overlord, Zados, liberate their enslaved people and restore the peace.

“The Ledge” A zany comedy, with a dangerous twist. Alowitious is on a ledge, ready to jump, when an insurance agent appears, trying to sell him a policy.

“Country People” Light drama. A troubled writer is commissioned to teach a class of odd misfits in a small town. He soon becomes embroiled in a tale of forbidden love and questions of mortality. An unexpected ending pulls the rug from under the audience, and we learn that nothing is really as it seemed. The film is based on an award-winning short story by Richard Hall.

“Ghost Car” Comedy. Tom buys a car on the internet only to find that it is possessed by a ghost with whom he must find a way to build a relationship in order to get to work… well, to get anywhere… on time.
