Nebraska

An aging, booze-addled father (Bruce Dern) makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son (Will Forte) in order to claim a million dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize. Dern was named Best Actor at Cannes 2013 for this role and director Alexander Payne (Sideways, The Descendants) was nominated for the Palme D’or. Stacy Keach and Bob Odenkirk co-star.

"The characters in NEBRASKA are at time ridiculous. They're also warm, cruel, generous, selfish -- in other words, recognizably human." (Manohla Dargis, New York Times)

An Oscar nominee for Best Picture, Actor, Supporting Actress, Directing, Cinematography and Original Screenplay.

A Golden Globe nominee for Best Picture, Actor, Director, Screenplay and Supporting Actress.

"This is another cooly controlled, wickedly funny and subtly heartfelt drama from the master filmmaker." (Sasha Stone, The Wrap)
