Coming off the great success of The Beatles: Eight Days A Week- The Touring Years, Deconstructing The Beatles' White Album, Sgt. Pepper, and Revolver, Abramorama is excited to bring to you DECONSTRUCTING THE BEATLES' RUBBER SOUL.
After years of touring the country performing his dynamic lectures live in cinemas, universities and performing arts centers, composer Scott Freiman, through the auspices of “In Performance at the Jacob Burns Film Center,” has recorded a series of lectures that Abramorama is making available to audiences everywhere. The fourth of four, DECONSTRUCTING THE BEATLES' RUBBER SOUL, will be available starting Wednesday April 19th for one-night event screenings (and the inevitable encores)!

In October 1965, The Beatles were faced with an impossible task—produce a new album of original music for a Christmas release. Within one month, The Beatles had emerged with what many consider to be one of their greatest albums—Rubber Soul. They even had time to create a double A-side single, “We Can Work It Out” backed by “Day Tripper.” Both sides of the single, as well as the album, hit number one on the charts.
Learn the stories behind the creation of “Norwegian Wood,” “In My Life,” “Nowhere Man,” and other classic Beatles songs. Mr. Freiman conducts an educational journey into the creative process of The Beatles performances and recording sessions.
