TEXAS MUSIC REVOLUTION is a feature documentary celebrating 25 years of one of America’s most iconic independent music festivals — KHYI 95.3 The Range’s Texas Music Revolution. Featuring Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Kiefer Sutherland, Joshua Ray Walker, and The Derailers, the film captures the heart of Texas Country, Americana, Outlaw Country, and Red Dirt music.

More than just a concert film, this documentary follows Joshua Jones, GM of KHYI-FM and founder of Texas Music Revolution, as he builds the festival’s biggest event yet. In an era when major festivals have shuttered, TMR stands strong — reviving live music in the wake of a pandemic and carrying forward the Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson spirit of independence.

At its core, TEXAS MUSIC REVOLUTION is a story about community, resilience, and the enduring power of roots music. Whether you’re a fan of Americana festivals, Texas singer-songwriters, or country music history, this film brings the Texas sound to life.
