In 1910 Oklahoma during the oil boom, young Sarah Rector inherits 160 acres of land most dismiss as worthless. With the help of a charming wildcatter, Bert (Zachary Levi), the two seek oil. However, when Sarah and Bert's success attracts the attention of corrupt local magnates, the two must fight to protect Sarah's inheritance from falling into the wrong hands.
