When ex-con Don (Shea Whigham), fresh out of prison, visits mobster Armen (Glenn Fleshler) to collect some money he’s owed, he’s instead assigned a final task: to "take care" of Phyllis (Carrie Coon). Don tries to carry out the job, but he finds he can’t pull the trigger. Instead, the pair of misfit oddballs set off on a road trip together.
