A white author is summoned by a Lakota Elder, who asks him to write a book about his perspective. After a blundering false start, he is all but kidnapped and sucked into a road trip through the heart of the contemporary Native American landscape. NEITHER WOLF NOR DOG's humor is wry and pulls no punches, introducing deep characters and poignant vignettes that challenge the viewer to see the world a bit differently. The film's star Dave Bald Eagle was 95 years old during filming.
