10:35 AM to 11:53 AM -- "Part Time Fabulous" (feature length drama, running time: 78 min.)

“Part Time Fabulous” is a drama that uses the visual styles and techniques of documentary films to depict a young woman’s battle with clinical depression. It is based on the true life experiences of L.A. actress Jules Bruff, who battled major depression and became a successful artist. Today’s screening will be its L.A. area debut before being entered in independent film festivals around the world.

12:10 PM to 1:30 -- "No Kidding Me Too!" documentary about a wide range of mental disorders, created
by acclaimed actor/director Joe Pantaliano, Emmy-winning star of "Risky Business" and "Sopranos" who
himself was diagnosed late in life with bi-polar disorder.

10:45 AM to 11:10 AM -- two short subjects, "Liv" (7 min.) and "SICK" (15 min.):

“Liv” (2009) acclaimed short film depicting a depressed, alcohol-abusing young man’s seemingly
magical path back to life through friendship and treatment. Starring Jared Day, written & directed by
Joshua Weigel.

“SICK” is a British short subject written and directed by Mike Rymer. It explores the experience of an elderly father who has long been estranged from his adult daughter, who herself has had a traumatic past experience that led her to seek mental health counseling; she comes to visit him after a long absence, and together they find hope of healing in their relationship as the elderly man embarks on ECT therapy.

11:30 to 1 PM --"Fred and Vinnie"
“Fred and Vinnie” is a poignant comedy full-length feature film that has been making the rounds of major American independent film festivals and winning critical acclaim and awards. It stars Fred Stoller (“Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Friends”), directed by well-known television comedy writer Steve Skrovan. The film “Fred and Vinnie” depicts the true-life friendship between two former stand-up comics who struggle to remain close buddies despite Vinnie’s maddening and self-destructive untreated obsessive-compulsive behaviors.
