Feel Good Film Festival

Feel Good Film Festival

The 5th Hollywood International Feel Good Film Festival, a buzzing red carpet event, is set to take place August 3-5, 2012, at the Laemmle NoHo7 Theater in the heart of L.A.'s North Hollywood Arts District. A film viewing experience for the entire family, it showcases feature and short length films with positive themes and happy endings that make audiences laugh, and that capture the beauty of our world.

Dedicated to provide a platform for filmmakers worldwide with positive views on life, the Festival celebrates with red carpet, pre- and post-screening gala parties. “FGFF films offer innocence, hope, and change – something we so desperately need…,” according to The Los Angeles Journal. “We are proud to support the expansion of NoHo’s Arts District by having this year’s screenings at the District’s newest addition of Laemmle’s Theatre,” says Karyn Jones, 2012 FGFF Director. “This is our 5th year anniversary, and we want to make it a special one for every filmmaker, festival goers and supporters, and the general NoHo neighborhood.”

Notable past films screened include two Academy Award winning films – Westbank Story and God of Love – Valerie Weiss’ Losing Control, Rosa Karo’s The Italian Key, Showtime’s I Am Comic, and films from over 25 countries including Venezuela, Estonia, China, and Finland. A few of Feel Good’s past celebrity appearances include Rainn Wilson, Carlos Mencia, Cheryl Hines, Shirley Jones, Hal Sparks, Valente Rodriguez, Tom Kenny, Patrick Warburton and Ed Asner.
Prize packages from previous FGFF editions have totaled more than $100,000 USD in cash and essential goods and services for working filmmakers from sponsors like Panavision, Hollywood Rentals, Adobe, Greenhouse Studios, ISS Props, New York Film Academy, and more.

Join us for the 5th anniversary of this powerful event, and leave a film festival feeling good!
