The 5th Hungarian Documentary Film Festival of Los Angeles

The 5th Hungarian Documentary Film Festival of Los Angeles

The 4th Hungarian Documentary Film Festival will bring the diversity of its country’s cultural and life experiences to Los Angeles. It’s an opportunity to observe life sometimes caught and surprised by the camera. Documentaries have always been a powerful means to convey social messages while at the same time entertaining.

Some of the stories you will see in this Documentary Festival are stories of love and death and how they are handled by the roma; what happens when politics and art collide; man’s determination and perseverance in light of his life’s dream being threatened to come to an end; a walk through the life and times of Hungarians who made a new home in the United States after fleeing from Hungary after the Revolution of 1956; a look into the background of the cream of the literary, musical and fine arts group called The Eight and an atmospheric report on east-west migration of Hungarian who become rickshaw taxi drivers in Amsterdam.

An endless variety of creative actualities.
