Second Nature by Yves Marchon for Element Brand (Best Documentary Category; Switzerland, 19 mins) −The story of former professional skateboarder Janne Saario turned environmentalist extraordinaire building skateparks out of industrial rejects.
Cinematographer Project (Chris Ray) by Chris Ray (Best Short or Web Category; USA, 4:25 mins)
− Style, color, imagery and forms leak image after image from the screen down into your seat.
Feedback to the Future by Sebastien Abes (Best Short and Web Category; France, 3:52 mins)
− From VHS to HD, Abes explores the range of skateboard cinematography over a couple of decades of technology.

− What if the desire for freedom in East Germany sparked within a kid’s love for skateboarding and his lust for life? This mockumentary tells more about modern history than most books will ever do.
7:30 pm & 9:55 pm: Pre-Release Screenings of Waiting for Lightning
The International Skateboard Film Festival (ISFF) and Samuel Goldwyn Films will present two pre-release screenings of Waiting for Lightning, the widely acclaimed documentary on the life of athlete extraordinaire Danny Way. For this very special occasion, the 7:30 pm screening will be followed by Q&A with Director Jacob Rosenberg, Danny Way and select cast members.
