Boy Who Cried Bitch: The Adolescent Years

The Boy Who Cried Bitch: The Adolescent Years

When Adelle (Ronnie Farer) takes her dangerous 16-and-a-half year old son Steve (Adam LaVorgna), who suffers from a borderline personality disorder, out of his second mental hospital so he can spend Easter break with his two younger brothers, Mitch, 15 (Baird Wallace) and Jody, 14 (Mark Richard Keith), and their grandmother (Diane Kagan), Steve begs his mother not to send him back to the hospital. He feels something "terrible" is going to happen!!

And it does. Steve, accompanied by a much older patient, Kenny (Casey Siemaszko), is involved in a brutal attack on a female outpatient, Ronnie (Susan Porro).

The judge sentences Steve "to do time" in the maximum security state mental hospital, which is a far cry from the private hospitals he has been in up to now.

After Steve does his time, his mother Adelle, not knowing what to do with him, insists that he be held for an additional year. Full of rage, Steve returns home to find his gifted younger brother, Mitch, on his way to drug rehab. He goes head on with his mother, whom he blames for all of his and Mitch's problems, and it falls to Jody, the youngest brother, to act as a "buffer" and keep them apart in order to hold his family together.

When Jody leaves for college, Steve and Adelle are left alone. In an ironic twist, their final confrontation brings the family closer together. But at what cost?
