Two centuries after Homer’s ‘Odyssey’ Aristophanes wrote his bawdy anti-war comedy ‘Lysistrata’ . Triple Oscar winner Richard Williams directed and animated his version LYSISTRATA (2026) - a sequel to Oscar nominated PROLOGUE (2015) . To bring an end to their men’s war the women of Athens and Sparta have a radical solution. Richard Williams hand-drew over 9,000 animation drawings for his final film.
