SEEfest is a competition international film festival presenting cinematic and cultural diversity of South and Eastern Europe to American audiences. It creates cultural connections through year-round film screenings, panels, art talks, poetry recitals, literary salons, writers lab and project accelerator, and fosters partnerships with other arts, cultural and educational organizations across L.A. County's cultural landscape. Established as a nonprofit in 2006 SEEfest is a volunteer-run festival hub bringing to L.A. a large selection of feature, documentary and short films from 20+ countries of South and Eastern Europe, engaging local audiences of cinephiles and artists, history buffs, culturally diverse people who hail from Eastern Europe, students from area schools, internationally-minded moviegoers and cultural explorers.
