Sumptuously photographed psychological drama powers through rowing races in a provincial town where coach Ali is caught in a web of his own midlife crisis and a desire to win a trophy at the expense of his trainee son, whom he forces off the team. A rare contemporary tale from a country making its debut at SEEfest.
