Nothing to Lose

The hard-hitting true life story of Edir Macedo, the man who faced down public authorities, broke with Brazil's religious establishment and became a major leader in the country. The events of Brazil in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s form the backdrop for his story, as he grapples with difficult and controversial setbacks, such as his groundless arrest in 1992 in São Paulo, and the faith that brought about his release and eventual victory over unjust forces. Based on Macedo’s biographical trilogy, Nothing to Lose, which has sold more than seven million copies around the world.

All screenings will be dubbed in English with Spanish subtitles.
