A year without love

This new Argentinean drama follows a young writer stricken with AIDS and a terrible fear of death. He seeks a reprieve from his suffering by setting off in search of the love of his life, placing personal ads, cruising the gay scene of Buenos Aires and immersing himself in sadomasochism and leather fetishism. By exploring the relationship between pain and desire, he finds a way to eroticize his pain.
