Past Run
Wondrous Oblivion
An 11-year-old English boy, a Jew, begins learning the skills of cricket from the Jamaican family that has moved in next door, but his new friendships run up against the anti-immigrant sentiments of Britain in the 1960’s. Paul Morrison wrote and directed this charming, beautifully observed movie, and Delroy Lindo in particular shines as the patriarch of the Jamaican family.
