The Taming of the Shrew
Filmed in HD at London’s Globe Theatre, the home of Shakespeare, this outrageous comedy introduces one of theatre’s great screwball double-acts, a couple hell-bent on confusing and outwitting each other right up to the play’s equivocal and controversial conclusion. The Taming Of The Shrew is part of the GLOBE ON SCREEN 2014 season.
“This intelligent and energetic production finds the tenderness in the text, and sends its audience home amused [and] exhilarated. [Four Stars]”
— Jane Shilling, Telegraph
