Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
After hilariously satirizing television newsreaders and soccer coaches, Will Ferrell takes on NASCAR. He's the Southern hotshot of the title; his rival a sneaky Frenchman played by HBO's brilliant Sacha Baron Cohen. Adam McKay directed and, with Ferrell, was co-writer. John C. Reilly plays Ricky Bobby's loyal sidekick.
