“Surongo” is the story of a simple man doing the impossible while trying to meet the immense needs of his loved ones. Masud, a young electrician in a suburban area of Bangladesh, falls in love madly with a beautiful girlnamed "Moyna". They get married very soon. For a few months, he looks for Moyna here and there. One day, he finds Moyna at a bazaar. He tries to take her back. But Moyna says to his face that she doesn’t want to live with someone who has no money! Masud goes back with a broken heart. He decides that he will earn a lot of money by any means and become rich very soon. He goes to Chittagong City and takes a job. He was looking for a short-cut way to become very reach. One day while digging the ground in the ice mill area, he found some gold bars. Hethought these were the treasures of the king’s period. But later, it turns out that the gold bars are fake. Then an idea comes to Masud's mind that there is a treasure of the modern age hidden in the Bank’s vault. If he can dig a tunnel and gets inside the bank vault, he can loot huge amount of money and become rich in no time. Masud targets a bank with a weak security system. He rents a house near that bank. Then he starts digging a tunnel from the floor of that house. Meanwhile, Masud comes to know that Zahir is torturing Moyna a lot. Then Masud meets Moyna, and they start a secret relationship. They plan to steal the money from the bank and run away from the country. Will they be able to do that? To know the answer, one must watch the movie “Surongo.”
