Shutter Island

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio team up for a fourth time for this adaptation of a novel by Dennis LeHane (Mystic River) set in 1954. DiCaprio plays a U.S. marshal who travels to an insane asylum on remote Shutter Island for an investigation. There he discovers the doctors are conducting experiments on the patients. Patricia Clarkson, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow and Emily Mortimer co-star.
