Shakeer from West Baltimore

Shakeer's neighborhood, Sandtown, an epicenter of generational poverty, violence, and drugs in West Baltimore, is ground zero for the uprising following the death of Freddie Gray. Realizing he does not want this trajectory to be his, 12 year old Shakeer decides to defy the odds.
