Past Run
Shah Bob
At 40, the road less traveled is narrowing for Bob who struggles to write a screenplay and live out his dream. When his father falls ill, Bob decides to change and embrace the legacy of his family, his culture and community. But can he really change?
"An entertaining and poignant look inside the Iranian diaspora of Tehrangeles...a masterful deconstruction and homage to Fellini's La Dolce Vita." (Firoozeh Khatibi, BBC World News Persian)
“Intimate and captivating, [SHAH BOB] calls to mind indie films from before Sundance made them mostly another Hollywood commodity.”
— Daphne Howland, L.A. Weekly
