In a small Serbian enclave in Kosovo a single boy is daily transported to school in the peacekeeper’s armored vehicle. He is devoted to his grandfather, whose passing causes the collapse of an already complicated life. The only friends to be had are Albanian boys, one of whom harbors deep wounds from the murder of his father by the Serbs during the 1999 war. Even a simple game means crossing the invisible enemy lines, probing the limits of friendship in a deeply divided Kosovo.
