Alison Eastwood turns, like her father, from acting to directing with a somber tale of a train conductor (Kevin Bacon) overwhelmed by guilt when his train strikes a car and kills a woman. She leaves behind a young son who blames the conductor, but develops a complex relationship with him. Marcia Gay Harden co-stars.
