Prisoner of Zenda

ZENDA is not only a fabulous swashbuckling, double-identity adventure, but a stunning example of JWH's golden era. It's full of sumptuous treats. Ronald Coleman, playing two characters, is handled brilliantly by Howe. This detail-minded genius made it a policy to always depict shadows and light emanating from a traceable source. Director John Cromwell held that he was completely at his mercy.
