José María Cabral's (Woodpeckers) harrowing film depicts the 1937 massacre along the Dominican-Haitian border. PARSLEY portrays a night of carnage as seen through the eyes of an expectant mother, Marie, in a breakthrough performance from Cyndie Lundy. Marie is Haitian, the target of El Jefe's murderous campaign, but her husband and his family are Dominican. She must figure out who she can trust and navigate the horrors of this fateful night to find safe harbor for herself and her child.
