On the Other Side of the Tracks is a hilarious, high-octane action comedy about mismatched cops in the grand tradition of Beverly Hills Cop, Lethal Weapon and 48 Hours. The Intouchables' Omar Sy stars as Ousmane, a risk-taking, rule-breaking plainclothes detective working in the rough Paris suburbs. When a wealthy woman winds up dead in the hood, Ousmane has to partner with slick city cop, François (Laurent Lafitte), to track down the killers. Soon the stakes are raised, and the odd couple partners discover that both sides have more in common than they realized.
