Next Door to the Velinsky’s

NEXT DOOR TO THE VELINSKY’S follows James Marshall, a young man who one night is called to a strip club by an old friend. Matthew Kai is a Korean man James had known as a child. Once at the club James finds himself face to face with one of the strippers whom he recognizes as Ruby, his childhood friend who mysteriously ran away years ago.

Ruby however does not seem to remember James, Matthew or anything from her past except for the Velinskys, the family she had lived next door to as a child. But has she really forgotten? Or is her lack of memory her only way of survival? James is determined to find out.

As James delves deeper into the deluded mind of this strange girl, he finds himself thrown into the unspeakable terror of his own past. To help Ruby he needs to face the horrors that he too had tried to forget. The horrors of a world where evil lurks and violence and terror reign. A world where an unforgivable sin gives birth to such indescribable terror that the only escape is in imagination.
