Masangeles

After the unexpected death of her mother, Masangeles returns to live with her father, an influential politician of whom she is an illegitimate daughter, provoking much commotion.

She must live with 10 different characters imbued with different neurosis. Egocentric, always ready to settle past accounts, creating situations both absurd and comedic in contrast with Masangeles who, on the contrary, is interested in and cares for other people.

The events take place from 1966, just before the election of President Gestido, until the disastrous coup d'êtat of 1973, years of hope and pain. Each one of the characters adopts a different political position in this chaotic time in Uruguayan history.
