THE LOST KEY explores how the act of sexual intimacy can go beyond mere physical pleasure and become a spiritual experience. The secret has its roots in Kabbalah, an ancient mystical Jewish school of thought. After a traumatic divorce, Ricardo Adler set out to discover how to attain a fulfilling and lasting marriage and meets Rabbi Manis Friedman, whose 1990 book, Doesn´t Anyone Blush Anymore?, boasts a cover blurb by Bob Dylan. The film portrays the dramatic transformation of Ricardo's new marriage, and the reactions of other couples to this revolutionary way to achieve a more profound sexual connection.
