Past Run
Joyeux Noël
This year's French nominee for Best Foreign Language Film is based on the true story of Christmas Eve 1914, when three groups of soldiers fighting in the trenches of France enacted a temporary truce and celebrated together in the barren stretch of No Man's Land by singing songs and playing a game of football.
"Writer-director Christian Carion has fashioned a deeply moving and uplifting piece that should find appreciative audiences everywhere." (Hollywood Reporter)
