Jodea Maxwell dreams of stardom, but her reality is a struggling out-of-work actress. Everything changes, however, when world famous movie director Zac Kawalsky crashe into her car. Instead of making him pay the damage, she persuades Zac to let her audition for his next film.
The audition is a complete disaster and Jodea is convinced she has blown her last chance. But when Zac's agent Grant makes a bet he can't get a performance out of her, Zac takes up the challenge.
But neither Zac nor Jodea can know that they will find themselves falling in love. And nothing can prepare Jodea for Zac’s ex-wife Isabella and her hostile use of the paparazzi, as well as Grant's determination to keep them apart.
