In a remote Bedouin village in southern Israel, a wedding is taking place. It ought to be an occasion to celebrate… but for a woman named Jalila, it’s anything but. As she endures this indignity, Jalila must also contend with a free-spirited daughter who’s determined to pursue a forbidden love.
