Thousands of times each day, men and women around the world post their innermost selves on YouTube. Like so many messages-in-bottles, cast on an indifferent ocean. However few of these messages are ever seen again. One such video did find an audience, and it winds up changing a great many lives. This is the true story of New Orleans native Samantha Montgomery, who each night sang her heart out on YouTube as “Princess Shaw,” reaching only a handful of listeners—until Tel Aviv musician Ophir “Kutiman” Kuitel discovered her, and brought her extraordinary voice to a whole new audience.
