Marcus Davis relocates to a new city, after his recent divorce, to start a new job with his old college friend James. James invites Marcus to stay in his home while waiting for corporate housing. Also living there are James's wife Denise and his 17-year-old niece Cindy, who's been under their care since the tragic death of her parents.
Marcus and Cindy clash at first, but they awkwardly bond over their separate struggles. When this turns into inappropriate flirtation, Marcus finds himself caught in a web of manipulation he didn’t see coming.
Cindy begins sabotaging Marcus’s life by manipulating James and Denise's perceptions of him. Her behavior escalates into a false accusation that flips Marcus’s world upside down.
Marcus must prove his innocence even as Cindy's increasingly desperate actions leads to deadly consequences.
