Hum Tum
This Indian romantic comedy follows, Karan, a cartoonist with India's leading newspaper. The Hum Tum of the title are his cartoon characters; Hum is the boy and Tum is the girl. They represent the world as Karan sees it and that world is divided evenly into two parts: girls versus boys. Rani Mukherjee plays Rhea, who meets Karan in Amsterdam. Their first meeting ignites no romantic sparks between the two but they differ on everything. To ease the tension, Karan rashly and impudently kisses Rhea. They part, but Rhea never forgets that kiss. A globetrotter, Rhea makes her home wherever she is at the moment, from the streets of New York, to the galli's of Mumbai. As fate has it, Rhea and Karan meet again six months later in New York. Rhea bitterly remembers that kiss in Amsterdam and she takes her revenge for it; Karan loses his girlfriend as a result. Time passes. It's been ten years since Amsterdam. They meet again, and now their real story begins.
