Past Run
High Noon
More than just the prototypical western tale, High Noon is a study in cinema, social
convention and morality. Filmed during the Cold War and the McCarthy era, the
filmmakers were able to utilize a genre that was often thought to convey conservative
notions to take a stand against a silent majority.
