Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

It’s Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts (already!) and the princeling wizard must confront both a renewed threat from the evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and an outbreak of academic rivalry among the staff. The motto of the series continues to be “let no great British actor go unemployed.” Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Gambon, Brendan Gleeson, Richard Griffiths, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton, David Thewlis, Emma Thompson and Julie Walters are among the cast.

“Sleek, swift and exciting.” (A.O. Scott, New York Times)
