Halfway home

Narrated by Martin Sheen and intimately told by a handful of American veterans, their families and those charged with their care, "Halfway Home" acknowledges that the toll of war extends far beyond the battlefield. The stigma of "mental health issues" within the military culture, aned the negative attitudes towards treatment, cause more than half of those veterans who need care, to avoid it. But "Halfway Home" becomes an empowering story of courage and hope on the grim face of war as these veterans conftront their demons and come face to face with the greatest obstacle to treatment: themselves.
