Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) wrote (with his wife Jerusha) and directed this cautionary tale about a teenage fantasy novelist (Michael Angarano) whose work is stolen by an established writer (Jemaine Clement of The Flight of the Conchords), resulting in a terrible movie adaptation. — Armond White, New York Press
