Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine

Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine captures the drama and history surrounding the precedent shattering chess match where, Garry Kasparov -- arguably the greatest human player ever -- lost to IBM computer Deep Blue. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Vikram Jayanti, the documentary takes a gripping cinematic odyssey into the paranoid mindscape of a legendary chess genius, as Kasparov battles to come to terms with the machine -- and the men -- from IBM. As we move towards a technologically advanced 'science fiction' world predicted by the likes of Huxley other visionaries, this match signals a turning point in nature's developing relationship and impending struggle with industrially produced machines. -- © ThinkFilm
