FROG-G-G! is coming back to Sunset 5 April 15 & 16 to coincide with the DVD release!
Midnite movie smash FROG-G-G! leaps back into Laemmle's Sunset 5 for special
midnight screenings on April 15th & 16th. This critically-acclaimed "homage
to Roger Corman drive-in classics" features cult legend (and Corman staple)
Mary Woronov (Rock And Roll High School), plus Donnie Darko's James Duval.
The screenings will feature a newly-mastered, unrated director's cut of the
film with additional monster footage; as well as an opportunity to meet
members of FROG-G-G!'s cast and crew.
FROG-G-G!, which centers around a chemically mutated, monster frog that is
driven to mate with human women, won Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature at
the 2004 New York Film And Video Festival, then went on to a hugely
successful run as a summer 2004 midnite movie at Laemmle Theatres. The
film's "no-CGI, just a guy in a frog suit" approach has attracted legions of
dedicated fans and international press accolades.
The screenings coincide with FROG-G-G!'s DVD release on April 12th via indie
giant Koch Entertainment and Vital Fluid Releasing. The DVD features the new
cut of the film, plus an indepth, behind-the-scenes "Making Of Froggg"
documentary as well as the now-infamous original theatrical "PSA" trailer.
Not to be missed! The DVD is available at Tower and other leading retailers.
Both Friday and Saturday's shows are at 12:00 midnight. Tickets are
